What is one piece of advice you would give your younger self?

The things that make you different are the things people remember.

What’s a moment in your career that made you feel truly proud?

I’m proud that my career at E1 is about more than processing a rebate, it’s about helping people in ways they actually feel. It’s about making homes more affordable, systems smarter and everyday life a little easier.

Who has inspired you and why?

My parents inspired my work ethic and sense of responsibility to help people. Women like Michelle Obama and Lady Gaga inspired my confidence; the reminder that you can lead, be different and still create meaningful impact.

What’s one challenge you’ve faced, and how did it shape you?

A workplace accident at my very first job in my early twenties required multiple surgeries and years of physical therapy. It was one of the most challenging periods of my life, but it didn’t define me, it redirected me. I chose to go back to school, earn my engineering technology diploma and build a career grounded in resilience and purpose.

What advice would you give to the next generation of people in your industry?

Nova Scotia has been at the forefront of energy efficiency, and the next generation has an important role in keeping that momentum going, bringing fresh ideas and turning clean energy goals into real impact for communities and the people who live there.
