For immediate release

April 18, 2023 – Halifax/Kjipuktuk, NS –EfficiencyOne has once again been selected as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers. This award recognizes employers that have created a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations.

“This is the 9th year that E1 has won this award and that is no small feat,” says Stephen MacDonald, President and CEO, EfficiencyOne. “We have worked hard to create a culture passionate about climate action and sustainability initiatives. Awards such as this demonstrate that all of us at EfficiencyOne are living our mission to help people achieve their energy goals, save money, conserve resources, improve wellbeing, and combat climate change.”

Over the past decade, EfficiencyOne has worked to create a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness. In 2022 EfficiencyOne’s Board of Directors approved an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework and metrics.

“It is important we build on our past environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts,” says MacDonald. “Achievements such as this award push and inspire us to higher goals and targets for the future.”
